The First Tee of Metropolitan New York and The Barclays have enjoyed a partnership which has lasted over nine years. The Barclays has shown tremendous support of our Chapter and our growing educations youth development program. Since 2001, The Barclays has contributed over $1,125,000 which has afforded our program the ability to serve some 30,000 participants in the New York, Tri-State area.

Besides the partnership support, The Barclays served as our Presenting Sponsor of The Barclays Cup Series. The Series includes our Interclub, Tournament of Champions and The Barclays Tri-Match. The Barclays Tri-Match event paired The First Tee Chapters from New York, Massachusetts and Ireland against one another in a golf and Life Skills competition.

Once again, The Barclays is coordinating the TICKETS Fore CHARITY program.  Through this initiative, local charitable organizations can promote the sale of Weekly and Daily Grounds Passes to The Barclays: 75% of every ticket sold will benefit the promoting charity and 25% will benefit The First Tee Metropolitan New York.

How to purchase tickets: Tickets will be available through TICKETS Fore CHARITY beginning on Thursday, April 8, 2010.  To Purchase tickets simply visit www.buytfc.com and click on the “BUY TICKETS” link listed in The Barclays section on the left side of the screen.  You can then choose a specific charity to benefit from your purchase – regardless of which charity you choose The First Tee Metropolitan New York will receive 25% of your total purchase!
